Central Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2026. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway has released the official notification for recruitment against the Sports Quota for the year 2026-27.

Central Railway is inviting online applications from eligible Indian sportspersons for various posts under Pay Levels 5/4, 3/2 and Level 1 across multiple sports disciplines. Candidates possessing the required sports achievements and educational qualifications can apply online from 15 July 2026 to till 14 August 2026.

The recruitment process will primarily focus on Sports Trials, assessment of sports achievements, educational qualifications, and document verification.

The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Eligible candidates should be born between 01 January 2002 and 01 January 2009 (both dates inclusive). No age relaxation is admissible under Sports Quota recruitment.

Candidates must possess recognized sports achievements in their respective disciplines. Sports performances achieved on or after 01 April 2024 will be considered for recruitment purposes.

Only achievements recognized by the concerned National Sports Federations and approved by the Railway Sports Promotion Board will be accepted for recruitment consideration.

The Application fees according to Social category have been given in the table below for the job post of Railway Sports Quota. Candidates can check their application fee according to Social Category.

The selection process may include the following stages:
